as a kid growing up on the southside of chicago i loved connies pizza and ate it often when i turned 15 i was afforded a chance to be a runner for one of the delivery guys my best freind andy reines brother joe was a driver and andy ran for him i got my chance with driver bill janetiez and met almost all the folks that were there somethat i remeber were joe berry, of course he would be the one that said if you stayed a runner or not the pizza was great i would almost always get one at the end of the nite w/ tips i made from running i stayed on for 2 yrs until only a girl could pull me away from that pizza ! i live in ga now but i always get a few when i go back to chicago and every pizza i eat down here always gets the ole its okay!! but it ain't connies my favorite pizza !
