The Connie's Story

It was 1963...the Beatles first album debuted, gas was 29¢ per gallon,

Lawrence of Arabia won Best Picture and zip codes were introduced in

the US. Not to be outdone, our father, Jim Stolfe traded his 1962 Olds

Starfire for a small pizza-joint on Chicago’s South Side. Humble

beginnings evolved into a strong family business and one of the most

beloved pizzas in Chicago.

Over the years our classic family recipes have brought joy to the hearts

and homes of many. Quality is the main ingredient in everything we do.

Our proprietary ingredients including signature sauces, fresh mozzarella, secret sprinkle, sausage, pepperoni and veggie toppings have been combined to be the best pizza.

Our dedication to providing the highest quality pizza is consistently

demonstrated whether you are a guest in our dining room, enjoying a slice at a sporting or airport venue, sharing it at home from your own oven or delivered in our custom heated delivery vehicles.

We have earned several awards, won contests and have been featured on The Food Network, NBC5, CBS, WGN, America Online, and in Chicago Magazine. Connie’s is legendary in Chicago, being named official pizza of the Chicago Bulls, the Chicago Blackhawks, the Chicago Fire, the Brookfield Zoo and the #1 pizza at the Taste of Chicago.

Today, as the ‘sons of the pizza-man’, we continue the tradition started by our father over 45 years ago. Pride in our product; Pride in our name. We know you are going love the pizza Chicago has come to call its own.
