Santa Claus has already stopped by once for a surprise visit with our guests (pssst, he’s coming again this Saturday for another great meet-and-greet) and our dining room is full of Christmas decorations and cheer.
It’s that time of year where we pause to reflect on all that we’re thankful for. Of course here at Connie’s we’re thankful all year-round, but in the spirit of the season we’re putting pen to paper, or cursor to screen, and writing about all of our Thanksgiving blessings.
I’m always put in charge of planning my company’s office parties, which isn’t a bad gig. I get all the glory when the party is a success, but of course success isn’t built overnight. First I have the daunting success of finding a caterer that pleases everyone.
We’re entering that season of spending loads of time with family and friends, which you’re excited about until you realize that you’re the one responsible for putting together and hosting the annual Christmas party get-together. All of a sudden, you’re feeling overwhelmed. What should you make? Aren’t a couple of your cousins vegetarian? Will there be enough space in the house? Will you have enough chairs?
